Let’s start with my suggestion that’s furthest away from Montreal — the Manoir Davis in St Agathe des Monts! Starting with the amazing view from the property over the Laurentians this venue has everything you need for your perfect photoshoot. The outside is the typical, stunning, Laurentian landscape (did you know — Laurentian weddings are my favourites!) and the inside is a carefully curated, neoclassical mansion. The property is around 10,000 square feet big so there’s many options on how you can set up your perfect wedding.
The mansion was built ca. 1908–1916 as “Château Belvoir” for Sir Mortimer Barnett Davis. It was renovated in 2020 and has since been used as a high-end rental for events and stays. There are 8 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms so you and your guests can also stay there for the night (or the weekend) which is a nice plus!

When I first learned of weddings being held at Golf Clubs I didn’t imagine how beautiful these are! The Golf Club of Beaconsfield does not only have a gorgeous exterior, with lots of flowers and nicely landscaped spaces, it also is absolutely classy inside. On my couples wedding day it was rainy at first so the ceremony was set up inside in the end instead of outside, however the space was full of windows on the side that then got opened when the sun decided to come back out. For couple and bridal party photos we had tons of beautiful spaces and I think my videographer Jonathan and I could’ve gone on shooting for hours. The cocktail was held on the big terrace which had enough space for quite some guests. The reception was then inside with delicious food, a big dancefloor and overall a beautiful decor.
The golf club exists since 1904 and is one of the top competitive golf courses in Canada.

The Manoir Grant is a beautiful heritage manor that specializes in events and weddings. It was built in 1831-1839 and served as an Inn and corporate office for the Canadian Light & Power Company in 1907, and later Hydro-Québec in 1949. It was the site of the 1843 Irish workers' uprising and now serves as an event and wedding venue.
You see the history this venue has still in every detail. In summer, it can get a little hot, as there is no AC up in the rooms but in general it is very well maintained and gorgeous to photograph! On my couples wedding day they were getting ready upstairs to then have the ceremony in the beautiful garden. We took couple photos around the little lake just behind the building while the guests enjoyed their cocktail on the beautiful terrace. The reception was done inside with beautifully decked tables and carefully curated decorations that fit right in this beautiful heritage home.

This beautiful venue situated in Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot has the perfect mix of nature and rustic charm. The ceremony can be held by the water next to the old windmill and the reception area can be left open or can be closed to have more of an inside vibe.
There is quite of a walk to get to the windmill so planning for older guests is important, however it was possible to have a shuttle for guests who could not walk that far. The cocktail was held in the courtyard of the venue before the guests were led into the reception area. If you choose to marry like my clients in the middle of August, definitely have some fans ready for guests, as there is no A/C possible if the windows are open (not sure how it would be with windows closed). The venue is perfect for a wide variety of beautiful photos in nature but close to all important amenities.
